2A Students Dive in the World of Non-Newtonian Fluids with Oobleck!

As part of Science Week, our 2A students had a hands-on adventure exploring the fascinating world of non-Newtonian fluids by making and testing Oobleck! This exciting activity allowed the students to witness firsthand how Oobleck behaves differently depending on the pressure applied.

A Fun and Educational Discovery

When the students applied pressure, Oobleck acted like a solid, but when left to rest, it flowed like a liquid. This experiment provided an excellent opportunity for the students to explore the unique properties of non-Newtonian fluids and learn about how they react under different conditions—making it a perfect mix of science and fun!

Hands-On Learning at Its Best

Through this engaging activity, 2A students gained a deeper understanding of fluid dynamics while developing critical thinking and observation skills. It was a memorable experience that sparked curiosity and a love for science!
