Curriculum

Curriculum

The curriculum at the Australian Islamic College Adelaide endeavours to empower every student to achieve success in their learning through the development of life-long learning skills. With Australian & Islamic values integrated and woven throughout the curriculum, students are encouraged to value the diversity of multiculturalism, both locally and globally.
The teaching programs here at AICA have been developed within the Framework of the Australian Curriculum that has been developed through the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).
The Australian Islamic College Adelaide also follows the South Australia Certificate of Education (SACE) guidelines in implementing Stage I & Stage II units at Senior School level. As education in Australia continues to make the transition towards a National Curriculum, the continual process of implementation and review in relation to National Standards will be closely monitored at our college.
Students can be enrolled from the age of 3 years and 8 months in the Kindergarten, 4 years and 8 months in the first year of school (Reception) and other year levels until Year 12.
We encourage you to view the curriculum at our College and direct any further questions to us by contacting the office for an appointment.
