Assalamu Alaikum Dear Parents and Caregivers

A Career Morning was organised on school premises on Wednesday, 10th August, 2022. The aim of this event was to put our Year 10, 11 and 12 students in touch with university representatives and to help them determine future directions.

The morning commenced with presentations from career advisors from University of Adelaide, University of South Australia and Flinders University. The focus of the presentations was informing students about new and popular courses, when to apply, admission pre-requisites to fulfil and support services on offer. The advisors also informed the audience about how these courses linked with the industry, the employment rates and how they offer a cutting edge over other similar courses. These guest speakers then stayed on to meet students individually and answer their many insightful questions and queries.

The students benefited from the event and pointed out that the presentations helped them make more informed choices in the light of current trends.

Overall, the event was a very productive one appreciated by both the students and the parent body.
