The SA Police Road Safety Centre is a leader in road safety education and contributes to a reduction in the frequency and severity of road trauma in South Australia.

Recently Reception A and B of Australian Islamic College Adelaide took part in a “𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐒𝐧𝐠 π’πšπŸπž 𝐎𝐧 π“π‘πž π‘π¨πšπ – π‘π¨πšπ π’πšπŸπžππ² π’πžπ¬π¬π’π¨π§” with the police at the Road Safety Centre.

The session provided education on pedestrian and cycle safety.

During the session students focused on:

a) Safe places to play

b) How to cross the road safely?

c) Passenger safety

d) Bike safety

e) Public transport safety

f) What is a triple zero emergency?

The students were also able to practice their newly learned skills on the mock roadway.

We ask all parents/guardians to discuss road safety with their children.
