Year 2 Students Explore History on a River Cruise and at the Maritime Museum

Last week, our Year 2 students embarked on a thrilling maritime adventure to Port Adelaide! The journey began with a scenic river cruise aboard the Archie, an 80-year-old police boat, offering a unique view of the historic waterfront.

Exploring Maritime History

The students then ventured to the Maritime Museum, where they had the opportunity to explore a rich collection of exhibits showcasing the history of South Australia’s maritime industry. From navigating through maritime artifacts to learning about the ships and people who shaped the region’s history, the day was filled with valuable educational experiences.
